PENN® warrants that its products are free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase. This warranty applies to products purchased from authorized dealers and used under normal recreational conditions.
This warranty does not cover damage resulting from accident, misuse, neglect, improper care or maintenance, unauthorized modifications, or the normal wear and tear that comes with a well-fished reel or rod.
If your PENN® product has a defect covered by this warranty, return it to us or to your local authorized warranty center. For complete instructions, please contact us. You are responsible for all shipping, insurance, and transportation costs associated with sending the product in.
If the issue is covered by warranty, we’ll repair or replace the product—at our discretion—and send it back to you at no additional cost (including return shipping and insurance). If the issue falls outside of warranty coverage, we’ll repair it at a reasonable cost for parts, labor, and return shipping.
ALL WARRANTIES IMPLIED BY LAW, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO ONE YEAR FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE. IN NO EVENT SHALL PENN FISHING TACKLE MFG. CO. BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY OR ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY.
Some states do not allow limitations on the duration of implied warranties or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary from state to state.
